Licence agreement.
This agreement covers your use of the BoardFleet desktop application. We have kept it in plain English on purpose. In short: you buy it once, it is yours, you can run it on two of your own machines, and you agree not to share your licence key or blame us for more than you paid. Last updated: 22 July 2026.
1. Who you are agreeing with
BoardFleet is developed and licensed by Manookian LLC, Sharjah Media City (Shams), Sharjah, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). Purchases are processed by Polar Software Inc. as merchant of record; the licence below is granted by Manookian LLC once your purchase is complete. By installing or using BoardFleet you accept this agreement.
2. Your licence
When you buy BoardFleet, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on up to two machines that you own or control, for your personal use or for use inside your own business. One licence belongs to one person or one company — it is not a licence per team.
The licence does not expire, there is no subscription, and the app does not stop working if we do. You own your copy in every practical sense; what you are licensing is the right to use our software, not the copyright in it.
3. Free trial
You may evaluate BoardFleet free of charge for 14 days, no credit card required. The trial is for deciding whether to buy; when it ends, continued use requires a licence.
4. Updates and major versions
Every update to the major version you bought is free, forever — bug fixes, improvements, and minor releases included. A future major version (a substantial new product generation) may be offered as an optional paid upgrade. Upgrades are never automatic, you are never charged without buying deliberately, and declining an upgrade never disables the version you own.
5. What you may not do
You agree not to:
- Share, sell, rent, or publish your licence key, or use one licence for more than one person or company.
- Distribute, sublicense, or make the app available to third parties as a service.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app, except where the law expressly permits it despite this clause.
- Remove or alter copyright or licence notices.
- Use the app for anything unlawful.
6. Your accounts are your responsibility
BoardFleet is a tool for organising and opening browser sessions for accounts you hold. You are responsible for those accounts: for complying with the laws that apply to you and with the terms of service of any third-party platform you sign in to through the app. BoardFleet is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Aurum Foundation. We cannot and do not promise that any third-party site will keep working with the app, will not change, or will not restrict your accounts — that relationship is between you and them.
7. Your data
BoardFleet is local-first: your boards, settings, and saved credentials live on your machine and are never sent to us. That also means backups are yours to make — boards export as plain JSON, and we recommend exporting periodically. We cannot recover data from a machine we never see. See the Privacy Policy for details.
8. Refunds
Purchases come with a 14-day money-back guarantee, handled by Polar as merchant of record. Email hello@boardfleet.com or use your Polar receipt. Statutory refund and withdrawal rights in your country remain unaffected.
9. No warranty
BoardFleet is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we do not warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. This does not exclude any warranty that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
10. Limit of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability arising from or related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for your licence, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including lost profits, lost data, or the suspension or loss of third-party accounts. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.
11. Termination
This licence ends automatically if you materially breach it — most obviously by sharing or reselling your licence key. On termination you must stop using the app and delete your copies. Sections 6, 9, and 10 survive termination.
12. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Sharjah. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of protections granted by the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
