Privacy policy.
The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not track you. The desktop app sends no telemetry. What little data is processed — and by whom — is set out below. Last updated: 25 July 2026.
1. Who is responsible
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Manookian LLC
Sharjah Media City (Shams), Al Messaned, Al Bataeh
Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Email: hello@boardfleet.com
2. What this site does not do
- No cookies are set by this website.
- No analytics or tracking scripts run here.
- No advertising or social-media embeds are loaded.
- Fonts are self-hosted — no requests to Google Fonts or any other font CDN.
- No user accounts and no forms — the website itself stores nothing about you.
- The only emails we send are purchase-related and occasional product updates to customers — every update email carries an unsubscribe link.
3. Hosting and server logs
This website and the installer downloads (downloads.boardfleet.com) are served by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare R2). When you visit the site or download an installer, Cloudflare technically processes connection data such as your IP address, date and time of the request, the requested URL, and browser type, as is necessary to deliver the page and to protect the service against abuse.
The legal basis under the EU GDPR, where it applies, is our legitimate interest in operating and securing this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not combine these logs with any other data and do not use them to identify visitors.
4. Purchases via Polar
Licence purchases are handled by Polar Software Inc. acting as merchant of record. When you buy a licence, you enter your details (such as name, email address, country, and payment information) directly with Polar on their checkout pages. Polar processes this data as an independent controller to conclude and fulfil the purchase, handle taxes, and issue invoices and refunds; see Polar's privacy policy.
From Polar we receive the information needed to deliver and support your licence — in particular your email address and licence details — which we process to perform the contract with you and to provide customer support (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, where the GDPR applies).
5. Email contact
If you email hello@boardfleet.com, we process your email address and the content of your message to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, where it applies). Emails are kept as long as needed to handle the conversation and any follow-up, and are then deleted unless retention is required for the licence relationship.
6. Product emails to customers
When you buy a licence, we send you a welcome email and may occasionally email you about BoardFleet itself — new versions, important fixes, and licence-relevant changes. For this we process your name and email address (received from Polar with your order) through Resend, Inc., our email provider, which sends from an EU (Ireland) region on our instruction; see Resend's privacy policy. Our emails set no tracking pixels and use no click tracking.
The legal basis, where the GDPR applies, is performance of the contract for purchase-related messages (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in informing existing customers about the product they bought (Art. 6(1)(f)). Every product-update email contains an unsubscribe link; you can also simply reply to opt out, and we stop the updates while keeping what's needed to support your licence.
7. The desktop app
BoardFleet is local-first by design. The app sends no analytics or telemetry. Your boards and settings are stored on your own machine, and saved account credentials are encrypted locally and held in your operating system's keychain. They are never transmitted to us. The browser sessions you open inside the app connect directly to the sites you load, like any browser; that traffic does not pass through our servers.
8. International data transfers
Manookian LLC is based in the United Arab Emirates, and our service providers (Cloudflare, Polar) operate globally, including in the United States. Where the GDPR applies to a transfer, it is safeguarded by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as implemented by the respective provider.
9. Your rights
Where the EU GDPR (or the UK GDPR) applies to you, you have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your personal data; the right to restriction of processing; the right to data portability; the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests; and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Where the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) applies, you have comparable rights of access, correction, and deletion.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@boardfleet.com.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if our data practices change — for example, if we ever add analytics (we would rather not). The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
